The Fender Stratocaster, often referred to as the Strat, is a model of electric guitar designed by Leo Fender, George Fullerton, and Freddie Tavares in 1954.

It has the Fender name on it and the model Stratocaster, Telecaster etc.

The Fender Blacktop HSH Stratocaster is made in Mexico.

stratocaster (jimi Hendrix made famous) telecaster jaguar percision bass theres much more but those are off the top of my head

There are many... Ibanez, Rickenbacker, Yamaha, Gibson, Washburn, BC Rich, Steinberger, to name a few, but there are guitars made to look similar to the classic fender stratocaster like the Yamaha Pacifica, the Squire (made by Fender) and the Torch Vintage.

The MZ before the number indicates that your Strat was manufactured in Mexico.

The model is Fender Stratocaster! The MZ in the serial number identifies it as a Mexican made Stratocaster made in 2000/2001. If you're asking if it's collectible then the answer is probably no or at least not at this time. If you're asking if it's a good guitar then yes it's bad at all, but the Mexican strats are considered to be inferior to their American made cousins, but again they are pretty decent guitars.

I hope so because my 94 has a 40th anniversary badge on the headstock.

As far as I can work out after looking at the Fender site, your guitar was made in 1988. I don't know if it's the upgrade model. Hope this helps.

A Fender Jazz guitar is an electric bass guitar created by Leo Fender. It is also known as the Jazz Bass or J Bass and was the second model of electric bass guitar that Fender created.

Fender Stratocaster, almost any model SSS or HSS configuration. There's plenty of pickups types and of course it will depend on your budget.

a shecter would be a good start. its not incredibly cheap, (a decent one would be 300-400). also, a fender or squire stratocaster would be a good choice (fender is better). i've also heard good things about the first act les paul model, it's very cheap.

The price of fender guitars depends on were they are manufactured. Squire guitars that are made by fender may cost anywhere from 99-250 dollars. A fender Standard strat starts at about $400 and go up itf you get a beter model. American made fenders such as the stratocaster start at about $1000 and go up from there.

Depends: Where it's made What year it was made Which model exactly is it The colour The condition it's in e.t.c. Maybe look on Ebay or something where there might be a model exactly the same as yours, wait and see what it sells for.

they are Gibson and fenders What I recall: - Gibson Flying V electric guitar - Gibson Les Paul electric guitar - Gibson Hummingbird acoustic guitar (which House bought new to replace an old guitar) - Fender Stratocaster electric guitar - A steel guitar, don't know model I think the last two are gone. Maybe Gibson is making product placement in the show, huh?

To many to ever know or care - they come o ut with a new model every day . I have a vintage fender road worrier and its sick ,

2000-2001 is the serial number and it's made in America. American Deluxe fender sort of suggests , go on fender supports page or to a guitar shop that sells fenders and you'll know 100% as it's very difficult to answer some questions on here without photos.

The guitars he most often used are Fender Mustangs, Fender Jaguars, Fender Stratocasters, Univox Hi-Flyers and a Gospel Ventures Model. His first electric guitar was an Ibanez guitar his uncle bought for him.

there is no such thing. strats are made by fender<----This answer is incorrect. Epiphone made a Stratocaster and Telecaster model in the late 1990's and i have dated them up to 2001 from their Samick plant in Korea. As of May 4,2011 there is at least 2 if not 3 of these listed on eBay now. So yes they were made and do exist thought they do not make them anymore.

The Z represents an American made instrument. The 9 after the Z represents 2009. For example a Z3------ would be an American made Fender produced in 2003.

if you mean non-fender like shapes, or at the same time not owned by fender. BC Rich has 39 or so non-fender shapes Moser has about that non-fender shapes Monser has all original shapes theres lots out there, those are 3 off the top of my head that are the most original.

I think the model of Fender guitars are defined by its shape and contour. There should be some markings in key spots; like the inside of the body, where the heel of the neck bolts in or in the cavity under the controls plate. But, these provide information about manufacturing date and assembly. Try giving Fender a call or find some respectable luthier. Regards, Eric

Fender is a well-known musical instrument brand all over the world. One of the model unit of Fender is the mustang bass guitar, if it has 76 06857 serial it was released in the year 1976.
