Endangered Species
There are many different endangered frog species but i cant name them all.
They are both species
According to the Encyclopedia of Earth, over 8000 plant species worldwide are officially threatened or endangered (obviously too many to name here!).
Ecosystems where species are endangered are at risk of losing biodiversity and ecological balance. Endangered species can disrupt food webs and nutrient cycling, leading to cascading effects on other species and ecosystem processes. Conservation efforts should be focused on protecting these species to maintain the health and integrity of the entire ecosystem.
An endangered species
Disney
There are two species of peacocks*. The Indian peacock is considered Least Concern (which means it is not endangered whatsoever). The other species, the Green peacock (or Javan), is endangered. In general, endangered species are protected, however I can't find any information on conservation programs for the green peacock. *The real name for peacock if peafowl. Scientifically, "peacock" is used only for males, peahen for females, and peafowl for both.
Endangered Animals: Species Facing Extinction
Plenty of arthropods are endangered, and because of the speed of destruction of habitats and the lack of biologists available to describe species (one calculation estimated the number of undescribed species to be in the millions), it is suspected that an uncountable number are on the verge of extinction. Among those known to be endangered are the California freshwater shrimp, the Salt Creek tiger beetle, the white-clawed crayfish, the tooth cave spider.
Obtain a list from your state wildlife office giving the name of the species that are endangered. Then find out where their habitats are and request permission to post signs notifying hunters and visitors to avoid the endangered ones. You might add that it is against the law to harm any of the endangered ones.
