The duodendum and the jejenum
In a frog the first part of the small intestine is called duodenum. The second part is called the ileum. The small intestine leads to the large intestine.
Peptic ulcers can develop in the lower part of the esophagus, the stomach, the first part of the small intestine (the duodenum), and the second part of the small intestine (the jejunum).

The duodenum is in the digestive tract, and it forms the upper part of the small intestine. It connects the stomach to the jejunum, the middle part of the small intestine. A link can be found below.

The duodenum is only the first portion of the small intestine. The small intestine comprises the duodenum, the jejunum, and the ileum. Following the ileum of the small intestine is the ileocecal valve, which separates the small intestine from the large intestine. The duodenum is separated from the stomach by the pyloric sphincter.
