Second Generation computers.
The VAX mentioned above is just a single model of first generation electronic computers.
the computer of this generation could be developed after the development of integrated Circuits. integrated circuits were made of cilicon.A single IC could hold a no.of transistors and resistors.this was also called chip. the computer of this generation were 1000 times fast as compared to first generation computers and their cost was comparatively low.The memory of these computers was much more and data processing became very fast.
The devices which gives/show output data of a computer are called "Out put devices".For example Monitor,Speaker and Printer.
Servers
I think this is called a HomeGroup
patches
Because the first, second, and third generation computers were also digital computers.
Second generation computers are often called transistorized computers. The transistorized computers are more advanced computers than the first generation of computers.
4 th generation computers
It means that with each so-called "generation", there was a major breakthrough in computers. Terms such as "fourth generation" or "fifth generation" are not clearly defined, especially for the later generations.
it was 1970 when 2nd generation of computers was there and scientist developed the new technology called GUI reference www.ebam.com it was 1970 when 2nd generation of computers was there and scientist developed the new technology called GUI reference www.ebam.com it was 1970 when 2nd generation of computers was there and scientist developed the new technology called GUI reference www.ebam.com it was 1970 when 2nd generation of computers was there and scientist developed the new technology called GUI reference www.ebam.com

First generation computers were built with vacuum tubes. The capabilities were about the same as that of modern computers, except limited by very small memories and slow speed. Typical first generation computer memory cost from $2 to $20 per byte equivalent, whereas today's computer memory costs less than a micro-penny per byte.
Most first generation computers had no operating system. When they did, it was usually just something called a Batch Monitor, all it did was sequence through several jobs one at a time that had been submitted in a batch. The computer companies saw no need for any form of operating system, so the machine's users had to write them all themselves. It was not until the second generation computer that computer companies supplied operating systems for their computers and the earliest of these were simply adaptations of operating systems written by users of first generation computers with a few extensions.
sixth generation
The parental generation is called the P generation. The offspring, or filial generation, is called F, with the first generation designated F1, the second F2,etc.
This is generation is being called "Generation I". This is anyone born after 2001.
