Yes and no. Magellan is given credit for sailing around the world. however he died before making it back but he gets credit because his crew made it back to land.
It was not the Mayflower, but the Victoria was the only surviving ships out of the five he took with them. Sadly he was unable to make it back home, even though his wife and son which was born after he left died already.
