1st you would need to locate the leak. This is normally done by a trained tech by adding a leak detection dye into system then a UV light is used to find the leak. If the leak is in the copper line set then it can be repaired. If the leak is in the evaporator or condensing coils the coil would need to be replaced.
It would be best to replace it with a new one.
Repairs on the newer air conditioner condensers are almost impossible to repair. The best thing is to replace it.
yes
You will be better off replacing it that trying to repair it.
It is okay if it leaks a bit of water outside but if it is leaking inside the house no it is not normal or okay.
If you are sure it is water and not coolant, then the A/C Condenser drain line is stopped up. You will find it near the firewall on the passenger side. Look for a tube under the Jeep. If it is coolant, which will taste sweet, your heater core is leaking and must be replaced.
Omg not a leaking central air unit those are the worst
If you mean leaking water in the car then the drain is probably stopped up.
Plugged A/C condenser drain line if it is plain water. If it is coolant, then the heater core is leaking. Another possibility is a leaking windshield.
That isn't a leak, it is condensation from warm, moist air hitting the cold air conditioner parts. You can see the same thing under cars in the summer . . . there will be a little wet spot on the ground under the air conditioning compressor, and for the same reason.
Breathing in or contacting the refrigerant (gas) is a health hazard. Some types of refrigerant-gases are highly flammable when exposed to an arc or an open flame. The question does not specify the substance that is leaking from the air conditioner.. (Is it water or gas. )
If it's not related to outside weather, then check the drain for your AC condenser.
