Death Knights have two specs that are DPS. Frost and Unholy.
It's a hero class so you have to have the download of Wrath of the Lich King and need to be Level 55 on your account. They make good dps because this AoE field with no channeling on 3+ enemies
You will want to practice with friends before you do the real thing. The best way to do this is by going to holding threat over 1 healer and 1 dps (recommended a rogue, mage, or warrior) or 3 dps. To tank as a death knight, simply use blood pressense (I believe its blood now) and go blood spec. Death and Decay is your best pulling spell for groups, and Icy Touch is your best boss/single pull. Blood Boil is good to use, but not right away. Death Grip who is attacking the group. Using your pet will only add dps, so don't focus on your pet. Summon it during boss battles if you wish. PLEASE NOTE: I HAVE NOT PLAYED MY DEATH KNIGHT SINCE THE PATCH, I WAS A VERY GOOD TANK BEFORE IT AS A FROST SPEC. PLEASE NOTE: I HAVE PLAYED MY DEATH KNIGHT AND IT IS HARD TO TANK BUT I GOT USED TO IT, BUT YOU STILL SHOULD PRACTICE.
In general, this is a pretty even matchup. The death knight has a slight advantage though.
Any spec really but you should go survival because you can get rapid fire to shoot 4 explosive shots that masive dps
Paladins are best suited as tanks or healers. They're Dps can easily be outmatched by other classes dps spec.
Most Warcraft players would agree that an Arcane/Fire hybrid spec provides the highest sustainable DPS for the mage class, making it the best specification for raids.
A player's average DPS will depend on many factors, including level, gear, talent spec, buffs from other players (in instances and raids, etc). It also depends on the player's skill with the class and how well he/she plays it.
Plague Strike > Icy Touch > Blood Strike > Blood Strike > Plague Strike ...then your runic power dump. I dump a Death Coil first and then in my second rotation pop gargoyle since the rotation runs a lot smoother with death runes up.
Both classes are pretty solid in the PVP department, but it's more a matter of play style. Priests have a ton of long range spells they can cast, while Death Knights have only extremely limited long range spells (they are primarily melee). That being said, Death Knight can be a tank and a DPS, while a priest can be a DPS and a healer. The real question you have to ask yourself is, do you want to be a tank or a healer when you're not PVPing? Of course, if you want to not have to make that distinction, go with a Druid, as they can be all three classes, tank, healer, and DPS, by merely changing their outfit and talent tree.
Death = θάνατος (thanatos) Knight = ιππότης (ippotis) Thanatos Ippotis is a rough translation for Death Knight
It depends on the class. __ Physical DPS: Rogue - Agility, crit and hit Paladin - Strength, crit and hit Warrior - Strength, crit and hit Druid (Cat) - Agility, crit and hit Hunter - Agility, crit and hit (your pet's stats are calculated from your stats.) Shaman - Hit, strength, and crit Death Knight - Strength, Armor Penetration Magical DPS: Mage, Shadow Priest, Warlock - Haste, Intellect, crit, hit and spellpower.
there is no literal translation to associate with the meaning of death knight.
