VSWR=Zo-ZL/Z0+ZL since open circuited ZL=infinity so VSWR=infinity

What are the three case in which vswr is infinity?

open circuit load2. short circuit load 3. a purely reactive load.

What is vswr?

VSWR is a ratio which represent the efficient performance in a radio emittion.

What is vswr range?

When VSWR taken as infinity?

VSWR on a line is infinite when the far end of the line is perfectly open or perfectly shorted,i.e. the line is terminated in an impedance of exactly zero or exactly infinite, AND the lineis perfectly lossless.Under those conditions, the reflection coefficient is 1.0 and the return loss is zero.

Why is an open circuit called open?

An open circuit is called open because the circuit has an opening, a disconnection. In other words, there is an open space in the circuit in which the electrons cannot move through.

An open circuit....

What is the symbol for a open circuit?

When a circuit is in off condition then it is called an open circuit..

A wire wrapped around a magnet is an example of a open circuit?

No. An open circuit is any CIRCUIT (from circle) which is not closed. That is; any break in the circle (circuit) makes it an open circuit.

Ideal value of vswr?

What is the VSWR and reflection coefficient?

VSWR = voltage standing wave ratio = ratio of the maximum voltage to minimum on a line = VSWR = Emax / Emin = Imax / Imin Reflection Coefficient is the ratio of reflected voltage to incident voltage. = ZL - ZO / ZL + ZO

What is open circuit voltage when load is connected?

As load is conected in circuit , so thre is no open circuit therefore there would not be any open circuit voltage.
