manuscript
It is one word, as in handwritten, for the act of writing by hand.
The word transcription or to transcribe speak to the act of copying writing. The "theft" of someone's writing is plagerism, and to plagiarize is to copy word for word, or with a few minor changes, the ideas of another author.

a word processor will see a handwritten letter as a picture unless you run an optical character recognition program
Exactly 1 word lol
a picture
CD or album titles are italicized in word processed documents on a computer. They are underlined when on a typewriter or on handwritten documents.
A sheet of music, or manuscript, if it's handwritten.
Maybe manuscript.
OCR is Optical Character Recognition. It is for scanning printed text. That could be from a word processor, but also from any well printed text, like from a typewriter. Even very carefully written text can be scanned if the writing is of block characters. So OCR is not exclusively from word processed documents.
This word is countable, but : word processing noun [uncountable]I mostly use my computer for word processing.word processed adjective:a word processed document
Yep. You open it up and start writing. If you mean handwritten... you'll have to scan your document in at some point, and depending on the software you use to do it, yes, you can usually pull the document into Word. If you only scan it as a picture, then you won't be able to edit it, but if you have a good test-recognition program, then you can edit it in Word probably.
