Backstage passes are normally available for employees, working on the concert from the performers to the stage hands. There are four types of passes: All access, stage crew, limited pass and sticky pass.

What does backstage look like?

Backstage is just like how it is thought to be- exciting and overwhelming. but what most people don't realize is that you can actually be seen from the audience- no one ever looks hard enough though. Most of all though- it is a TIGHT SPACE. Crew members and managers are running around getting everything ready for the next peice of the show- and others are standing by watching for mistakes on stange. Marissa

How much does the One Direction VIP pass cost?

You cannot purchase backstage passes since they are promotional items that are usually given away for free. The industry standard for getting backstage passes is the ultimate backstage book which you can google. This is the only way that anyone can get the passes. You can also win them from a radio station or know someone that works at the venue. Sneaking in will not work since the guards are well aware of people trying to do this. Anywhere from + depends on the website you purchase from and the package

How can you get the 'Ultimate Backstage Book' for free?

I can only speak from personal experiences. I bought the ultimate backstage book about a year ago and got myself backstage to four concerts within the last year. The last one I went to was for my little niece who wanted to meet Justin Beiber. The only problem is that you can only talk to him for only about 10-15 minutes. Here is her pic with JB It is so funny because most people pay $2000 for passes and I only had to spend $19.99 for the e book version that showed me how to get FREE backstage passes…lol. The website is at igotbackstagepasses if you want to give it a chance like I did!

How much are disturbed backstage passes?

You don't buy backstage passes... Not for Panic, not for any band. I've toured with bands for over 15 years and no band sells passes into their "private world". You either know someone... win them on radio (which aren't really backstage passes, just meet and greet passes)... do "the deed" to earn them... or persuade a local crew guy to "walk you in" and get kicked out soon after. Contrary to popular belief, the "backstage" area is a workplace, not a party place. What happens here is WORK, not fun and games. These people (bands, touring and local crew) do this for a living, to earn money. Not because it's fun... believe me, it's no fun being on the road away from your family and friends for six months at a time, but it is profitable... on the road techs make ALOT of money and that's why most of us do it. If the money wasn't there, most of us wouldn't be either. So please, don't come backstage unless you have a reason to. One less person in the way means I get to finish my job on time, and get out of the nasty venue and relaxing on my bus after working a 16 hour day. The bands will and often do make arrangements to meet their fans through radio contests, or other special appearances. I'm not trying to discourage you, but too many fans backstage just get in the way of the people that are actually there to work.
