yes it stills make noise and i don't know whats going on with it, i was told it might be a rod or something else. i was told that it need wires, oxygen sensor and cat converter.

it might be your starter.
The Ford Taurus does not have a timing belt, it has a timing chain. The timing chain is designed to last the life of the engine, and does not need routine replacement.
The 1996-1998, and much of the 1999 model Taurus & Sables are virtual twins of each other - making the parts highly interchangeable.

Have the charging system tested, I'm thinking maybe alternator is over charging and causing the belt to slip on acceleration.
It 's your dang old cam shaft syncronizer.
Low transmission fluid or a bearing is going out.
