Most Ford Model Ts had a 10 gallon fuel tank mounted under the front seat which relied on gravity feed. There was no fuel pump so if you let the fuel level get really low you had to climb a steep hill in reverse. In 1926 the fuel tank was moved forward and upward, under the cowl, on most model which solved the problem.
it is near the fuel tank, if you want to install new one you have to completely remove the fuel tank.
