Heat is the amount of total energy contained within an item; both potential energy and kinetic energy. Potential energy is stored energy and kinetic energy is moving energy. Temperature is a number that corresponds to the amount of kinetic energy in an object. When heat is introduced into a system, molecules move faster. When molecules move faster, they bump into each other harder and more often. These measure of the energy of these collisions is temperature. So, temperature can result from heat being introduced into an object; that is, heat is energy introduced into a system and one affect heat can have is to increase the temperature. Heat introduced into a system can also cause a phase change; like ice melting into water, with no subesquent speeding up of molecules, and therefore no temperature change.
In summary, heat is energy introduced into a system and is a measure of all the energy in an object. Temperature is proportional to the amount of kinetic energy an object has.
Temperature is an indicator of heat or cold. Cold is the absence of heat.
Heat is the amount of energy transferred between objects where a difference in temperature is present. So in that sense, heat is related to temperature differences, but is not the same. The temperature difference is caused by the difference in the avg. speed of particles between the two objects.
heat
heat is a energy and temperature is a measurement . (of how concentrated it is)
When two objects at difference temperatures touch, they both decrease or increase to result in the same temperatures so that it's at equilibrium. To change in temperature, the heat energy from the the object with the higher temperature will always flow to the object with the lower temperature. This is also the definition of heat and is not to be mistaken with temperature. Heat is the transfer of energy from an object with a higher temperature to an object with a lower temperature. Temperature is the measurement of kinetic energy of particles in an object.

Heat is defined as the total kinetic energy of all the atoms and molecules that make up a substance.Temperature is a measure of the average kinetic energy of the individual atoms or molecules in a substance.
Heat is a form of energy... noticeable only by the temperature differences
Heat is thermal energy. Temperature is the measurement of average kinetic energy of the particles which compose the matter being tested. Temperature is a relative measure of how hot or cold something is measured on a scale. Temperature is a measure of how much heat energy an object has.
Breezes are created when there are specific heat differences between land and ocean.
The flow of heat in and out of an object changes its temperature.
A paragraph has nothing to do with heat and temperature.
difference between cooler and heat exchangers
temperature can be hot or cold, heat is diff variations of hot.
