I think that no, becouse nobody from Sherard family in XVII-XIX centuries was not wife or husband of a person from Fox family, otherwise Sherards is not descendants or ancestors of Fox family.
Perhaps there is a chance that these families are related. Illegitimative son of last earl Harborough, Bennet had 6 or 7 children, mayby one of these children was spouse of anyone from Fox family, I have not non infos about such married or relationship.
Mayby somebody from families related to Sherards was connected with Fox family. Mayby woman from Foxs was mother of one of husbands someone with who was married daughter of someone earl of Harborough...
