Take a slice of white bread and remove the crusts Dip the bread into beaten egg and milk or cream so that the bread is thoroughly soaked in the egg mixture. Remove the bread from the egg mixture allowing any surplus to drain back for further use Place the egged bread in a hot buttered frying pan and fry both sides until golden Remove from pan and dredge with fine sugar and a little ground cinnamon Serve hot
