Polar Bears are mainly in the far northern hemisphere near the Arctic. They rely mainly on the sea freezing so they can hunt seals out on the ice-pack. During the Arctic summer, when the sea ice retreats, the bear either lives off stored body fat, or scavengers, until the winter freeze returns.
