The way my policy from farmers reads....
"Permissive user limit of liability"
If this policy provides bodily injury liability in ecess of 25k per person and 50k per accident and or property damage liability limits in excess of 10k per accident, the the amount of coverage in excess of those limits shall not apply to the operation or use of any motor vehicle by any person other than the named insured an additional driver listed in the DECLARATIONS of this policy or a FAMILY member.
i.e. Yes, with this policy they will cover anyone you seem fit to let drive your vehicle, however THEY are only going to cover you for the excess coverages, the other person driving your vehicles are getting state minimums no matter WHAT coverages you have paid for. UNLESS they are a "family member" which not sure, but dont think they define which type or how close of a relative this must be.
HOPE this helps

What happens if a son has an accident and a couple of people get hurt and a couple of cars get totaled. Minimum limits will have you in a courtroom answering to a lawsuit quickly. Your house may become their house so be carefull.

If you are travelling out of state, your auto insurance will extend to provide coverage in the states you are travelling to. If you are relocating, you will need to purchase insurance in your new state at the time you register your vehicle. Extended coverages between states will provide the same limits of liability you carry on your policy unless they do not meet state minimum requirements. If they do not meet state minimum requirements, the policy will automatically raise the limits while you are travelling if you have a claim.
