We breath in oxygen then it travels through the respiratory system ending to alveoli. Oxygen passes through the blood stream by using capillaries as a place to swap with carbon dioxide so that the alveoli gets the oxygen. Then the carbon dioxide leaves the body when we exhale.
Hope This Was Very Helpful To Whoever Needed It.
:)
Gas exchange occurs in two locations. It occurs as external respiration in the lungs, where CO2 defuses out of the blood and O2 into the blood and internal respiration in all living cells in the body. CO2 leaves the cell and O2 enters the cell to the mitochondria mainly for respiration.
There are little people inside your body that pays for the air in money. This is how the exchange gases. Then the people hire workers on minimum wage to sort out the gas in carbon dioxide and oxegan. Then you breath out the carbon dioxide. Easy as said.
in the respiratory system aka lungs for the layman
explaon gas exchange in humans
Gas exchange happens in the alveoli.
Breathing.

Gas exchange between the body and the environment occurs in the lungs.
--it is in the alveoli where the exchange of gases occur.. :))
The capillaries are responsible for gas and nutrient exchange with each of the body's cells.
Breathing.
The gas occurs by simple diffusion through the cells.

Gas exchange does not occur in the respiratory tract, it occurs in the alveoli.
gas exchange occurs between pulmonary capillaries and the alveoli in the lungs.
gas exchange occurs between the thin walls of the alveoli and the thin walls of the capillaries
Gas exchange between the body and the environment occurs in the lungs.
in their gills.
