i think it will be released around late 2009 or 2010and at the end of the gears of war 2 credits it has a message "hello can anybody here me! this is Adam fenix what have you done?"and i think gears of war 2 is going to be about Adam fenix a while before emergence day, or another sequel to the series

There will be a Gears of War 3 because it was made as a trilogy. If u played it please watch the credits because it gives you a hint about what the next one will bring. If you see the credits and wait for about a minute a message comes on like an answering machine. It says and I quote " This is Adam Fenix. Can you hear me? Is anyone out there." "This is Adam Fenix. Can you hear me? What have you done?" Obviously this is what I think... When the COG sunk Jacinto it seemed like it was a good plan, but the message states like it seems that Adam Fenix is still alive and Marcus will try to track him down, but with them gone I predict some locust will attack since the queen was never destroyed and the newly sunken Jacinto will be left vulnerable for attacks. This is what I think but if I'm wrong then you'll have to wait when the thrid game comes out in about 2-3 years.
