I don't think it is possible but, just go to your local AutoZone and they will read all your codes. They will not erase them as it is illegal but at least you will know what is going on
since 1995 to present, you have to retrieve codes by use of a obd2 scanner.
You can't. It requires a scanner to read them.
You can't, you must use a scanner.
Get the codes using a scanner
You can't. You need the codes and a scanner.
No obd2 requires a code reader or scanner.
To clear codes on a scanner, first, connect the scanner to your vehicle’s OBD-II port and turn on the ignition without starting the engine. Navigate to the diagnostics menu on the scanner and select the option to read or view trouble codes. After reviewing the codes, choose the option to clear or erase them, and confirm the action. Finally, turn off the ignition, disconnect the scanner, and start the vehicle to ensure the codes have been cleared successfully.
From '96 up the Tauri (and all cars) had OBD2 systems, which (I believe) can not be read without a scanner. Many chain auto parts stores will check codes on these cars for free.
To extract diagnostic fault codes from a BA Falcon, you need to connect an OBD-II scanner to the vehicle's diagnostic port, usually located under the dashboard near the driver's seat. Turn the ignition to the "On" position without starting the engine, and then use the scanner to read the codes. Follow the scanner's prompts to retrieve the fault codes, which can then be cross-referenced with a service manual for diagnosis. Alternatively, you can use the "self-test" method by shorting specific pins in the diagnostic connector, but using a scanner is more straightforward.

You will need a scanner that can display the fault codes set in the module. The codes will help you determine the problem.
