the three wisemen
The three wisemen/kings that brought the gifts to baby Jesus
Frankincense was one of the gifts given to Jesus by the Wise Men as a symbol of his divinity and priestly role. It was considered a precious and valuable gift, fit for a king, and was also used in religious ceremonies as an incense offering.
The term "wisemen" is actually a misnomer. The wisemen were actually astronomers from the orient who came to find Jesus, but did not do so until about two years after His birth. The Bible doesn't say there were three of them either. So the phrase "the three wisemen" is not a correct statement. However, the men did bring gifts of gold frankincense and myrrh when they did find Jesus.
Because that was the day baby Jesus was born and wisemen from the East gave gifts to him. So when you give a gift to someone, its like giving a gift to Jesus.

yes
The three gifts that the wise men gave to Jesus were gold, frankincense, and myrrh. Gold represented his kingship, frankincense symbolized his divinity, and myrrh signified his earthly death and burial.
They werenโt kings. Magi, wisemen, or astronomers. Also the Bible never says there were three.
Preaching to the wisemen
According to Matthew 2:1, it states, "Now when Jesus was born in hlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came 3 wisemen from the east to Jerusalem.AnswerActually, there were not 3 wisemen. It says "and came wisemen" It never says 3. People assume that because there were 3 gifts that were brought. They lived in the feilds on the east side of JERUSALEN
according to Biblical accounts, when the wisemen were looking for Jesus they did in fact follow a star that guided them to the manger where Jesus was born
