So I reckon the importance of prayer would be stressed many times; yet no more than these two key verses in 1 Thessalonians 5 17. "Pray without ceasing. 18. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus"

You need to give more detail. But prayer is mentioned through out the Bible very often, especially in the Book of the Acts.
