Able Tasman is a must! It is the top of the South Island. You also need to go to Christchurch which is the South Island's major city Christchurch is known as the garden city. You can also come down to Dunedin Where I live, there is a lot of stuff you can do down here too! Queenstown is probably the south islands biggest tourist destination though! Have a great trip
