Gravity depends on the mass of the objects being attracted to each other, and the distance between them. G = m1 x m2 / d2 Gravity (its force) equals the product of the masses of the two objects attracting each other divided by the square of the distance between them. Or, if you like, gravimetric attraction is directly proportional to the product of the masses of the objects being considered and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them.

Gravity is dependent upon mass. The gravitational force between two objects is found by multiplying the mass of object 1 by the mass of object 2 by a gravitational constant, and dividing by the square of the distance between the two objects.

There are two factors on which gravity depends upon, which are: the mass of the two objects in question put together and the distance between these two objects.

What are the factors on which pressure exerted by liquids depends?

The factors on which pressure exerted by liquids depends are: 1. The density of the liquid 2. Acceleration due to gravity and 3. Depth of the point below the surface of the liquid.

Why time period of pendulum depends on length not other factors?

It does depend on the force of gravity where the pendulum is located. There are other factors that it depends on but their contribution, in normal circumstances, is negligible enough to ignore.

What is faster upward or downward?

it depends on a lot of factors but i would say downwards because you are working with gravity not against it.

What are the factors that effects the tide?

The gravity of the moon and the gravity of the sun.

What are the factors that affect gravity.?

Mass and height.

What two factors determine the strength of the force gravity between two objects?

The force of gravity between any two objects depends on the mass of the first object and the distance of the second object.

What 3 factors can change the force of gravity?

The force of gravity between any two objects depends on . . . -- the mass of the first object -- the mass of the second object -- the distance between their centers of mass.

Factors that affect the bouyant force?

A buoyant force depends on: a)density of the fluid b)volume of an object c)standard gravity of earth NOTE:The value of earth gravity is (9.8 or 10) The value of gravity on moon is (1/6)

Does gravity depend on mass or weight?

well weight depends on mass and gravity so gravity depends on mass. e.g weight=mass X gravity

What factors does pontential energy depend o?

The position of an object determines it's potential energy. Using an unstretched spring as a reference position, a stretched spring has potential energy.

What are to factors that affect gravity?
