Watering a plant with any type of salt water will cause the plant to wilt.

Because of the salt outside the plant cells, water leaves the cells in a process called osmosis. With less water in the cells, the cells shrivel up. If they shrivel up, the plant loses it's ability to hold itself up.

Clean out all your skimmer baskets and remove any debris from the pool. Then shock it. Back wash the filter for at least 5 minutes and then rinse for 1 minute. Depending on pool size you should see the green dissipate to clear cloudy water. Use clarifier to remove the cloudiness from the water.

algae will make water in a saltwater pool green If boosting the chlorine doesn't clear it up pool shops will have algaesides and floculants to the water clear again.
