The network of fibers in cells is called the cytoskeleton. It provides structural support to the cell, helps maintain cell shape, and is involved in cell movement and division.
Each bundle of nerve fibers is surrounded by connective tissue called the perineurium. This protective layer helps to support and protect the bundle of nerve fibers as they travel throughout the body.
A fascicle is wrapped in perimysium, which is a connective tissue sheath that surrounds bundles of muscle fibers. It provides structural support and helps protect the muscle fibers within the fascicle.
An auxilian is a member of a group, typically composed of volunteers, which helps to support a hospital.
