Guinea pig has a bump on her right cheek is it some thing okay like food in the food pouch if they have a food pouch or something a lot more serious like a tumor?

Guinea pigs have no mouth pouch. Try to open the animals mouth to check if food is stuck in a tooth. If you are unable to check take the animal to a vet as this can get much worse. im sure they have a stomach pouch or just putting on weight iin a lump sorry but i thought they had food pouches

It will just look like a swelling on the side of their face, and it can be difficult to tell if it is impacted or if your hamster is just pouching things. If you notice that their pouch has been full for some time (generally give it a night or two) try lightly massaging the pouch, this may dislodge the food and allow you hamster to de-pouch it. You must be gentle as the pouch is a very delicate area. If massaging does not help, then you will need to take your hamster to a vet. In the worst cases, the impacted pouch will have caused an abscess and infections, and the hamster will need to be put to sleep. Always take care with what you feed you hamsters!
