How Terrible!! =[ If there are any other nursing guinea pigs around, they will nurse babies that they did not give birth to. Whenever something like this happens, you need to find a really good pet store and veterinarian places to provide nutriton to the babies. Whenever my guinea pigs have babies and find out something like this happened to somebody, I myself would take care of the babies that lost their mother and then return them to their owners. Anyways, it doesn't take long at all before guinea pigs start to eat solid food. They are born with teeth just like they are born with hair.
Your baby guinea pigs need their mother to survive. Get them to your vet and see what they can do for it.
The mama piggy may miss the babies for a short time. These animals are not people, they do not feel as we do. Soon the mama will be back to her good old self and may breed again.
yes my grandma's rabbit's bunny died and then the rabbit died
This is partly how guinea pigs express their dominance. They are both fighting for the 'Alpha' position. This is why it is generally not a good idea to have 2 males living together.
it depends if you want them pregnant, if you want babies, put the male and famale together for about a day, that should do it. If you don't want them pregnant, and you only put the male and female together every once in a while, it depends for how long you leave them together. Just some extra info: to know if your female is pregnant, wait for about a month and a half. If she starts getting unusually fat (large belly, small head), she is most likely pregnant. take the male out if he's not out all ready. when the babies are born, if the male is still in the cage with the female, the male could distract the female away ROM consentrating on the new born babies and some could die. When my female had babies, the male was still in the cage, 2 of the 4 babies died.
I think you should get another female because you don't want UNWANTED LITTERS!! Female and female would be less likely to fight. Male and male would be most likely to fight. IF you get female and male, just make sure one of them is spayed or neutered.I don't approve of breeding guinea pigs because it is very hard to find them good homes. Most end up being put down in shelters. YOUR CHOICE
It could just be nature taking care of the weak. My fist female molly had 12 babies and we only have 5 left. My current female molly has 36. At first we thought we had 28 and then 5 died and then we found a whole bunch more the next day! The first 11 she had were a pretty decent size but the others were sord of small. Like I said, it could just be nature taking care of the weak ones, because that is a alot of babies to nourish. Dont feel bad though. Its not your fault. =]
If her babies have died it meant that something went wrong. She should not breed again because the chance of her dying is very high. I would not breed her again.
no because the babies need the milk of course maybe you should go out and buy another guinea pig
everything dies including animals so if your guinea pig has died then its mostly because either-it was ill before, its old or it hasn't been taken care of properly.
While male guinea pigs can and do get along quite well if proper housing space is provided, they can almost never get along if there's a female involved. Keep your female away from males or they will fight and she will get pregnant. Pregnancy can be very dangerous for female guinea pigs.
Sorry about you're loss. I'm wondering if they died of old age and if they was babies; they could of had a illness about there litter.

Remove father in case he attacks babies. keep them warm. separate the female babies and the mum from males when the males reach five weeks, otherwise the males will fight over the females even if there are plenty of females. You don't want inbreeding as the babies being carried will die after birth.
lots of radiation, babies were killed, and the parents to the babies were killed so they had no parents to take care of the so obviously that babies all died in the end.

No, unless a) the female fish got pregnant before the male died, or b) you buy a new male guppy and put him in with the female.
My guinea pig died.
