If you're giving your dog Benadryl, its highly recommended that you purchase a 100% pure formulation designed to be safe for dogs (and cats). NOT the human version of the medicine which contains other ingredients that are BAD for dogs.
The usual dose of Benadryl for dogs (adult) is 2 to 4 milligrams per kilogram of body weight, which corresponds to a dose of 0.9 to 1.8 milligrams per pound of body weight.
However to be safe, dog owners should consult their veterinarians for specific dosing instructions for their animals.
around one mg per pound
250mg for a 90 pound child
However much her doctor prescribes.
The amount of Benedryl given is dependent on weight, not age. I give my 70 lb lab 1 tablet. talk to you vet about specific dosages for your dog.
197.66 is the answer 200-2.34 and you get answer
I use an eyedropper and give mine only a couple of drops. I have to give mine Benedryl when she gets her vaccinations.Additional Answer:Dogs can have 1-2mg of Benadryl per pound, every 8 hours. This can be used to treat allergic reactions, and it also has some anti-anxiety effects. As a general rule, Benadryl is very effective for both dogs and cats, as it is for humans, and, as with humans, the primary side effect is drowsiness, with dogs and cats, as well.
all i know is that game will give you 50 pound for it
My dog often has allergic reactions, especially when she has to have her annual vaccines. Our vet specified 1 milligram per pound, so for a 7lb dog, you'd want a third of a typical 25mg Benedryl tablet, or perhaps you could find a liquid or children's variety that has a different dosage. Just make sure it is ONLY benedryl (diphenhydramine) and no other 'cold/flu' ingredients are in it.
Dogs can't take Motrin.
Ask a vet before you do anything!!
one milligram per pound.
of course you can fart a tenth of a pound. maybe not all at once. but you can fart enough gas to give you that much
