Most of the electronic rat traps use batteries to charge their circuit boards. The Rat Zapper is the original electronic rat trap. It works when the rat is lured into the chamber by the bait. When the rodent steps onto the kill plate the unit sends electricity down to the plate and electrocutes it dead.
Just like mouse traps, they also have Rat Traps. Try putting a Vicks Cough Drop in the trap, cherry flavored preferably.
Rat poison has a variety of elements that can kill rats. These elements include warfarin, diphacinone, bromadiolone, brodificoum and others. The kind used in home is called anticoagulant rodenticide.
if you dont own animals, used poison of traps if you do own animals, LET THE THE RATS TASTE LEAD no seriously if you have an air rifle or other low power firearm shoot them leave out bait e.g: corn dog food fish grain bread cheese cat food
I've had a horrible problem with rats in my house. I thought there was just one and called an exterminator twice. We laid snap traps, glue traps, and those ones with the claws on it. Nothing worked. So I got fed up and decided to drug him with vicodin. Well, he got high and fell into a glue trap...problem solved. Or so I thought. He was not alone. So I got angry and grabbed a container of "Barkeepers Friend", a powdered cleaning agent I use in my bathroom and mixed a whole heap into some "maple and brown sugar" oatmeal. Left it out where I knew they'd find it. Found one dead and another half dead from eating the dead one. So the way I figure it... poison enough the first time and as they eat their dead, they'll die too. I like it because yes its poisonous, but at least I know that it is contained in an area my kids can't get too and it wont be tracked through the house. Good luck!!
All rat killers are harmful. Try a large mouse trap or "rat trap with a spring" and put peanut butter on it. and be sure to keep the kids away. Poison will not work as well as a trap.
The Victor electronic rat trap is different to other rat traps as it is designed in such a way that the user doesn't have to see the rat after it has been killed.
Rat zappers are called electronic mouse traps, it'll automatically trap Mouses if they get close but there is one awesome thing about rat zappers. It can electicfy Mouses that are inside the wall without waiting for mices to get out.
Rat traps or rat poison :-)
Generally there is very little difference in quality for rat traps. The parts and manufacturing tend to be so simple that the only difference across different brands is a name. For small rat traps, Victor is one of the biggest names. For larger rat traps Ortho tends to be rather popular.
You can buy an inexpensive rat trap at victorpest.com they have a two pack rat trap deal for $8.96. They also have more expensive rat traps if you have a huge pest control issue.
Try rat traps....snaps or sticky traps. However, with sticky traps put them where your cats can't reach them. I understand you can remove an animal from the sticky traps with mineral oil but check on this before you lay it down anywhere your cats might get it. There are some electronic rat killers but if you have small cats this could be a problem. DO NOT use any sort of rat poison as it will also kill your cats. The other question is, why aren't your cats killing it? (:
Rat traps, can catch the mouse (Sticky traps). Also The poison in the traps can kills the rats ASAP.
Cats, brooms, rat traps...

rat traps
There are lots of different rat traps available to catch them. Or you can go to a pet store and buy one if that is the kind you want!
They do, but who needs the added expense? Rats are hard to trap without a bait anyway & they are not curious like mice. Don't count on them to go in the hole just to see what's in there & without bait they most likely won't except for the juveniles.
