If you cannot disable SATA and you don't want to use F6 you have couple options. First, you can get Windows xp SP3 with sata drivers (it's available); second, you can integrate drivers for sata in windows xp sp2 using the program nlite(www.nliteos.com). Download a driver for sata from the manufacture website and unpack it a separate folder.

How to use nlite you can find online. In simple words you need to copy all files from the installation CD in a separate folder. After start nlite and browse the folder with windows files after that choose "install drivers" and "make iso". After that browse the folder with the driver and start the process. After it's done integrating the driver. Press Create Iso. It will create a bootable iso image of the installation CD. Using such programs like Ultra Iso, Power Iso, Alcohol and so on you can burn the iso image on CD.

PS: nlite has more usuful options which are welcome to try.
