The creators of the Elder Scrolls have recently said that they will create an Elder Scrolls online, it will be a mix of all the Elder Scrolls. This feature resembles World of Warcraft, and doesn't look like it will have the same feel as Skyrim. Also, there is a new MOD being created for PC that allows a player to play only Skyrim and does not include the other Elder Scrolls. This MOD looks alot more fun, and more like the original singleplayer Skyrim, except you can do quests with your friends. Unfortunately, this MOD is still being perfected, and will not be completed for some time.

Extremely unlikely. Each Elder Scrolls game is set in a particular realm of the Elder Scrolls world. Morrowind was set in Morrowind. Oblivion was set in Cyrodil. Skyrim is set in Skyrim. Unless Bethesda break the pattern that they have set or decide they want to create more events in Skyrim (Likely to be a DLC rather than a new game). Another Elder Scrolls game wont be out for another 2 - 5 years. Might as well as play Skyrim for the time being.

Tamriel has 9 provinces; Black Marsh, Cyrodiil, Elsweyr, Hammerfell, High Rock, Morrowind, Skyrim, Summerset Isle and Valenwood. 'Arena' let you visit every province in Tamriel. 'Daggerfall' was situated in part of Hammerfell and part of High Rock. 'Morrowind' took place in Morrowind, more accurately in just the central island of Vvardenfel. 'Oblivion' was set in Cyrodiil, the empire's capital city. 'Skyrim' is set in Skyrim.
