Nobody died from Blink182....travis barker was in a plane crash but survived
No he did not get shot, he got into a plane crash and that's why blink-182 is back together.
No, Travis Barker is not dead. On September 20th, the plane he was in crashed just outside Colombia. Travis and DJ Adam Goldstein was both on fire when exiting the plane, and they were seen padding each other down to extinguish the fire. Travis was transported to the Arthur M. Still Hospital in an ambulance, and both he and Goldstein is now being treated for burns substained on 50% of their bodies. Barker is in critical, but stable condition. He and Goldstein were the only survivors of the plane crash, which claimed 4 lives. They are both expected to make full recovery.
During the self titled album blink was at the HEIGHT of their career, they sold out arena's across the world. But Tom just had his daughter Ava. He had been gone for about 2 years and missed pretty much the entire pregnancy, and the first year and a half of her life. So he just wanted to go home and be with his family. Mark and Travis thought that would be a terrible idea to take a break right now. This made Tom really upset and he told them he just couldn't keep going and HAD to go home, then they said if that was his decision he would have to live with the consequences and so he decided he couldn't do it anymore and left for good. Then he started AVAIf you want you can hear this story told by tom on their AVA - Start The Machine DVDAnswerIn 1998, midway through a U.S. tour, Drummer Travis Barker, who was touring with The Aquabats on the same tour with Blink-182, later played the set because Scott Raynor had to leave for the day. After the set, Mark Hoppus and Tom Delonge sat down and talked about Travis Barker joining the band. The next day he became a member of the band and replaced Raynor permanently. DeLonge left the group in early 2005, with the band portraying it as an "indefinite hiatus". DeLonge went on to play alternative rock in a band called Angels & Airwaves, while Hoppus and Barker continued in a similar genre with their band +44. Tensions arose between Mark Hoppus, Travis Barker, and Tom Delonge because of DeLonge's desire for a half-year respite from touring to spend time with his family. Also Hoppus' feelings of betrayal after the formation of Box Car Racer, (Delonge and Barker's experiment with record ideas they felt were not "Blink-friendly,") created further problems along with discussions regarding Blink-182's future recording endeavors. After a cancelled tour of February 2005, the Blink-182's band manager called Hoppus and Barker to tell them that Tom had quit the band.DeLonge confirmed that "Blink-182 was dead".
In 2006, Travis Barker (Drummer) was severely injured in a plane crash. Mark Hoppus (Bass Guitarist/Vocals) and Tom DeLonge (Guitarist/Vocals) visited him. It was the first time all three members had been in the same room for over a year. They started talking about their lives and music and started playing music together again. They missed making music together and that's why they've reunited.
Travis Barker lost a substantial amount of muscle mass due to the series of health issues he experienced in his lifetime, including a plane crash in 2008 that resulted in severe burns and multiple surgeries. Additionally, these health challenges may have impacted his ability to maintain muscle mass through regular physical activity and exercise.
Blink 182 WILL NOT be touring England or any other country. If you want to go see them you will have to go to America. Travis Barker refuses to get on a plane since his crash so there is absolutly no chance of them coming over here.
