A fourth season of Torchwood UK was unofficially greenlit but cancelled due to budget issues. It's unknown whether a fourth season will ever go ahead. There have been discussions about making a Torchwood TV series in America however, like the forth series of torchwood, it is debatable whether or not the UK will make the series in the first place.
