A total of ten wild card teams in NFL history have made it to the Super Bowl, with six of them going on to win the Super Bowl.

1) 1975 Dallas Cowboys (lost to Pittsburgh 21-17 in Super Bowl X)

2) 1980 Oakland Raiders (beat Philadelphia 27-10 in Super Bowl XV)

3) 1985 New England Patriots (lost to Chicago 46-10 in Super Bowl XX)

4) 1992 Buffalo Bills (lost to Dallas 52-17 in Super Bowl XXVII)

5) 1997 Denver Broncos (beat Green Bay 31-24 in Super Bowl XXXII)

6) 1999 Tennessee Titans (lost to St. Louis 23-16 in Super Bowl XXXIV)

7) 2000 Baltimore Ravens (beat New York Giants 34-7 in Super Bowl XXXV)

8) 2005 Pittsburgh Steelers (beat Seattle 21-10 in Super Bowl XL)

9) 2007 New York Giants (beat New England 17-14 in Super Bowl XLII)

10) 2010 Green Bay Packers (beat Pittsburgh 31-25 in Super Bowl XLV)

As of the end of the 2007 season: Wild-card teams that have won the Super Bowl: 2007 Giants, 2005 Steelers, 2000 Baltimore Ravens, 1997 Broncos, '80 Raiders and '69 Chiefs. There was no 'wildcard' in 1969 but Kansas City finished second in their division that year to the Oakland Raiders.
