Through the 2009 season, no.

The Tigers did draft Australian born (Perth) pitcher Mark Ettles in the 1989 amateur draft but he did not play in MLB for the Tigers. He played for the Tigers minor league teams in Niagara Falls, Fayetteville, and Lakeland before being released in 1991.
