My nine year-old daughter had a very bad allergic reaction last summer. By the time we made it to the hospital, she was completely covered in hives and her arms were beginning to swell. She swore it was the apple juice she had just drank, but I didn't see how that could be possible. However, last night at my father's, he gave her apple juice without thinking, and the same reaction happened again. This whole thing doesn't make sense to me. The juice she was drinking was organic, and unless the packaging information is false, is supposedly 100% apple juice. Anyway, we are waiting for an appointment to a specialist, and hoping to get to the bottom of this...

Yes, because they may add other ingredients to Apple Juice that you could be allergic to. So it is possible for you to be allergic to Apple Juice, but not apples. Unless you are allergic to the real apple juice in the drink. then you cant eat apples.

Add: It depends on the allergic reactions one is having to the apple juice. They add large amounts of sugar to apple juice, which makes it unhealthy and bad for teeth, this happens to everyone. You might be allergic to the sugar if you get headaches or feel hiper after you drink the juice.

Whenever I take a bite of apple five minutes later My lips swell up My throat itches and my tongue itches. Does this happen because I have dry skin or something Help me?

You are obviously having some sort of allergic reaction to an apple. Whether it be the skin, the actual flesh of the apple or perhaps even the pesticides (if used) that are on the skin of the apple. You can find out for sure with allergy testing from your doctor. Yeah, you're allergic. Best to stay away from this 'food' and be aware of what you eat. If it happened once, don't try it again! Go to a doctor.
