Yes. The earliest measurable (>0.25 cm) snowfall at Chardon, Ohio, which holds virtually all of the snowfall records for the entire state, was 1.3 cm on 20 September 1956.

There is a book which claims that traces of snowfall were recorded at Toledo, Ohio, in August in 1949 and againin 1950, but that does not seem to be supported by any historical records that I can find.
