Reply- I decided to research it. I looked at several stories and found the answer. The first Melanie quit because she quit to go do another TV show called Neighbors. The second Melanie was NOT drinking or having a fake ID. She meet up with her mother at a train station to buy her brother a birthday present and she tripped and fell on the train tracks as a train was coming. She was not able to get up and run away fast enough and the train ran her over. I can guarantee you that this is the correct story. There are many versions but this is the correct version.
