This rfle was produced by Winchester (model 121) and was also sold in Sears stores with the Sears name on it. A total of 72,561 were made between 1967 and 1973. It was made in youth, standard, and deluxe models. A unique feature is the front locking lugs on the bolt, which makes for a very sturdy rifle. This was the first rifle I ever purchased, and still have it 40 years later. A very good condition rifle would probably be worth $100 to $125 today.
It depends on the particular model of the rifle, not the caliber it is in. What model and make is it?
1967-1973
Marlin made a model 98 semi-auto .22cal rifle from 1957-1959.They also made a model 980 bolt action .22cal rifle from 1962-1970.They did not make a model 98 bolt action rifle in .22caliber.
this is a bolt action rifle
Your model number should be posted on the rifle. If it has worn off do to age and handling then you have 4 choices.First if it is marked 30US.then you have a Model 1895 lever action rifle.Second if it is marked 30WCF,then you have a early model 1894 lever action rifle,or a model 55 lever action rifle.Last you could have a model 64 lever action rifle in 30-30 Win.
That will depend on the make of the rifle and the age of your pump rifle.
We need to know model of rifle. the model of rifle is 93M 22 WMR its a 22 long rifle
I'm not familiar with a "Winchester model 77". Is this a bolt action gun or a lever-action rifle? Winchester's famous bolt-action hunting rifle is called the Model 70. Their most famous lever-action guns are the 1873 and 1894 models. Ruger is a company that has a bolt-action rifle called the Model 77.
No such model. Winchester did not make a 'Model 1901 single shot .22 pump-action rifle.' They made a Model 1900, Model 1902 and Model 1904, which were all single-shot bolt-action rifles, and they made the Model 1890 and Model 1906 which were slide-action rifles but had tubular magazines. How exactly is your rifle marked? sales@countrygunsmith.net
The 223 is considered a Short Action rifle.
I do mnot understand your question? Are you asking if you have a winchester model 70,or how old,or if the rifle you have is a model 70.Please include the style of rifle(bolt action, lever action etc.)and the serial number, and model number. If these are posted in your question, then we can get you an answer.
The Garand rifle is a semiauto, not a bolt action. Do you have a Model 1903A3 bolt action? A Model 1917 bolt action?
