The Palestinian conflict goes back many decades, to the time when Jewish guerrillas fought against the indigenous Palestinians. Now that Jews have the upper hand and have successfully declared a state of Israel, while denying the Palestinians the same right, even on the small fragments of territory left to them, we now find Palestinian guerrillas fighting against Israel. This should have been foreseeable, but compromises were not made.
During the Spanish American War, Cuban guerrillas fought against the Spanish. After that, Cuban guerrillas fought against the corrupt Cuban government and later against Americans.

The Israelis never "got Palestinian lines". Up until 1988, the word Palestine referred to a region of land in the Middle East, between the Mediterranean Sea and the Jordan River. Since the early 20th century, Great Britain had referred to this region as Palestine. Palestine contained a mix of Jewish and Arab populations. As such, to say that a "Palestinian nation" deserves their land back is patently ridiculous. In 1967, Israel fought and won a war (also known as the Six-Day war) against Egypt, Syria, and Jordan. Some of the territory captured by Israel is being contested by the fictitious state of Palestine.
