You could have to much coolant in your reservoir tank. If it is above the fill line it will come out of the overflow. Some of this overflow could get onto your engine and be causing the odor your smelling. Good Luck! I had this problem. One of your hood supports has fallen away and needs replaced. You can get some washers of the right size and put it in the missing support's place, or get 2 pieces of wood to stick under the support bolt, or get a used support at a junk dealer.

I would suspect you it was installed incorrectly, it is a bad starter, or the flywheel is broken or has a missing tooth.
It may or it may not. To find out you will have to do a pregnancy test. There ar other reasons for missing you period, although it is a common sign for pregnancy.
