Have a 1995 Explorer XLT that smells like antifreeze every time you stop it although most of the time there is not antifreeze missing Any Suggestions?

You could have to much coolant in your reservoir tank. If it is above the fill line it will come out of the overflow. Some of this overflow could get onto your engine and be causing the odor your smelling. Good Luck! I had this problem. One of your hood supports has fallen away and needs replaced. You can get some washers of the right size and put it in the missing support's place, or get 2 pieces of wood to stick under the support bolt, or get a used support at a junk dealer.
