To my knowledge, no schools in my country have done so. However, there might be education systems out there who came up with better ideas to assess how much the student has learnt in the past term or semester.
Exams not in your schools.
Because its more of a private affair
Yes, they should be abolished because as a student I know the consequences faced by us.
Your question is unclear. tenth as in sophomores?
No, exams sudn't b abolished. If der r no exams most ppl won't study or wud b 2 lazy 2 study and those who wud study won't b able 2 analyise themselves.
The answer is yes.
yes
The debate on whether exams should be abolished in Mauritius hinges on their role in assessing student learning and readiness for future challenges. Proponents argue that exams create unnecessary stress and do not accurately reflect a student's abilities or potential. Conversely, opponents believe that exams are essential for maintaining academic standards and accountability in education. A balanced approach, incorporating various assessment methods, may better serve the diverse needs of students.
Sadly no
Most of the school will conduct class X exams of their own. But secondary schools (schools upto X) will have board exams.
i really hate exams but i see no reason for it to be abolished. it's the ONLY way to test if the students really understand the lesson. it's kinda like a big help to us since we're benefiting from it. but, of course, if you're motivationally deficient, then tests don't really matter at all. XD
Exams at Secondary 2 are not national ones. They are instead conducted by the schools themselves, thus you would find that the papers are different across multiple schools.
