1984 Sikh Riots was a well planned consipiracy to hurt the Sikhs and deprive them of their rights. Thousands of Sikhs were burnt alive/brutually murdered/rendered homeless on the streets of India. Mobs were supposedly led by senior Congress leaders like Jagdish Tytler and Sajjan Kumar. In the recent 2009 elections, Congress party had to deny tickets to both these leaders due to their alleged involvement. After the riots, instead of taking action against the culprits, the then government registered false cases against the witnesses to safeguard the people who responsible for the massacre of Sikhs in 1984

For Sikhs the final goal of life is to reunite or merge with God (Mukti.) The Sikh Gurus taught that to achieve this goal it was important to work hard at developing positive human qualities which lead the soul closer to God.
yes i think so that english has brought the world closer because in america ( U.S.A.) the people always speaks in english.so in india many people are trying to speak in english to bring their world closer as in america (U.S.A.).
