Chances are a Tech II (dealership) scan tool will reveal that your oil pressure is not fluctuating. The smaller stepper motors have been a problem in the cluster. The dealer will quote you $700 for a cluster. The stepper motor individually is worth about 10 bucks US. It takes about 2 hours and some minor soldering skills.
