"Landlord won't send no one to check it?"
So the landlord is sending someone? If so what is the problem?
I suspect you need to watch your double negatives.
It allows the electrician to organize the distribution of electrical circuits, and holds the circuit breakers firmly in place.
This a too broad of a question. You have a few options:1. hire an experienced electrician or2. be able to identify your specific electrical issue and have the tools to deal with it.(for example: I turn the light switch on and the breaker trips. What do I do?)in this situation we could answer your question.
An electrician does not operate breakers he installs them.
Hire a qulified electrician.
Make sure that all electrical outlets in the bathroom are grounded to prevent electrical shock. When in doubt, consult an electrician and have a GFCI (ground fault circuit interrupter) outlet installed.
You should add only with a proper load calculation. You should probably have a licensed electrician look at the situation first. You can find a licensed electrical contractor at www.contraxtor.com to help with your electrical service upgrade
It depends on how you live. If it is your property and it's an electric light, check the bulb, the switch, any exposed wiring or connector, circuit breaker/fuse and/or call an electrician. If you rent, call the landlord or the maintenance man.
Example sentence - We hired an electrician to at the circuit breaker and install an updated panel.
An electrical breaker is a safety device used to open a circuit that has an electrical fault on it.
They don't cost that much, and it also depends on where you are. I suggest you approach your electrician or electrical supplier, explain to him what you need it for and then he will then tell you the cost. Installation will be extra, as you can guess.
You don't do it. You call an electrician and have the electrician do it.If the breaker box is not accessible, that's a building code violation, and you have bigger problems than just changing an outlet. If the outlet is in a building that is anything other than a single-family home which you own personally, you have absolutely no business touching the wiring under any circumstances. A faulty installation could put other tenants or future tenants at risk of fire or shock. Ask the owner to send an electrician to make the repair. If the outlet is in your own home and you don't have access to the circuit breakers because there is stuff in the way, you need to clear it away. If you don't know where the breaker box is, call an electrician to make the repair for you and have the electrician show you where it is for future reference. If you don't have a breaker panel, call an electrician immediately because your wiring is unsafe.
Sounds like a defective breaker in the box, or a loose wire connection. Tighten connections at breakers, and neutral bus bar. Sometimes you can feel the breaker slightly vibrating, BUT ,be very careful!
