Yes you should you have someone that likes you your super lucky. But are you sure he likes you. If you asked him and he didn't like you that would be a rumor going around the school. Try to find a quiet spot to ask him when you two are alone, then try to make a conversation. Then you could ask him or see if he asks you. But i would ask him if he was dating first just in case.
