Crispine Vincent Odhiambo Mbai has written: 'The implementation and management of health care programmes in Kenya: the case of the expanded programme on immunization'
Kenya health care system has improve a great deal over the past years due to the following reasons: -Availability of support form the commonwealth countries -Education:adequate knowledge due to presence of trained personnel -Agriculture and food industry:has improved a great deal since farmers are gorwing a variety of food. -construction of health instituions e.g hospitals has enhance delivery of better health, kenyyatta hospital has long served kenyan citizens -eradication of diseases through carrying out campaigns on both endemic and pandemic diseases has helped the health care system in the country. but there are several people who leave in the remote areas of Kenya who can't gain access to health services, this has led to the establisment of the primary health care system to reach out out to the families and communities out there. All in all there is the practices of herbal medicine which has provided a great wealth of therapeutic value on the prevention of some diseases which could not be eradicated by the conventional medicine.I owe this to the study of pharmacognosy which involves the extraction of crude drugs from plant derivatives. The government of Kenya has made a major step providing funds to facilitate the purchasing of pharmacetical products andother equipments required for the well fuctioning of the hospitals.several statues have been laid by the Kenya parliamentary act to prevent the sale of poisons into the market. In conlusion i can predict the future of Kenya health care system improving by 50% since most of the students are venturing into the medical field e.g pharmacy, clinical medicine to mention but a few, this will increase the technical know how and skills in the health care systems country wide!!
