Henry Ford began building the world's largest automobile factory in MI. It was almost 7 million sq. ft. and it employed 81,000 people which was the max. capacity. The assembly line led to a more efficient automobile production. This large plant accomplished Ford's dream of mass production and led to the "Gasoline Age". This "Gasoline Age" was instituted because now gas stations, auto repair places, and other needs for an automobile were needed. In essence, Henry Ford not only created jobs in his company, but many others because of his Model T.
