Not really. The best moveset for a Lucario uses different types of moves, not just Fighting moves.

LUCARIO Actually, I would have to say Gengar. Because of it's inability to be hit by a normal type, and that it is perfect pokemon try and capture a wild. I have one, and use it as my 'capture pokemon' it has two moves that do damage, and two others, one that makes it unable to retreat, and another to make it sleep. Also, if you let it learn all attack moves, you'll find that it will be extremely handy in battle. But that's just me and my opinion. :D

well scarmory, latias and vaporeon can all be killed by eleteric moves, dragonite, salamence and latias can all be killed by ice and dragon and lucario can be killed by heaps of types, fighting ground fire flying so its not that good

Most likely. Lucario is Fighting and (?)Steel(?). Metagross is Steel, and Lucario can totally defeat Metagross, so this is one vote for Lucario. That is so not true... Firstly, Metagross is Steel/Psychic, which means that Lucario is not super-effective against it. Secondly, Metagross can use Earthquake, a move which totally pwns Lucario. Of course Lucario can also sue Earthquake, so they're more or less evenly matched. your answer sucks big time, of course metagross is better
